Project

Patrcia Street Rebuild

In November 2025, Hibco Construction completed the rebuild of a 3,530 sq. ft. commercial retail unit on Patricia Street in Jasper, Alberta — the first commercial retail rebuild in Jasper following the devastating 2024 wildfires. Under a construction management model, the project involved constructing CMU block walls on the existing foundation, installing mass timber beams, and completing a full mass timber roof system, along with interior improvements to house both a Firehouse Subs and a Domino’s Pizza location. One of the most notable undertakings was sourcing pre-cut mass timber beams and panels from Austria — shipped by boat, then train, then semi-truck to Jasper — and craning the entire roof package into place on Patricia Street while managing tourist traffic and maintaining a high standard of site safety throughout.
