In 2025, Hibco Construction delivered a major permanent modular housing project in partnership with Attainable Homes Calgary, providing much-needed affordable housing in Calgary. The project consists of a six-storey, 84-home affordable housing building, constructed using 56 permanent modular units. Located on a constrained infill site in Calgary’s downtown core, the project demanded a fast, highly coordinated construction approach with minimal site disruption. Hibco was responsible for managing the full structural scope, including modular placement, structural fastening, and complexing. Through precise planning and execution, Hibco ensured efficient installation and seamless integration of the modular units, demonstrating strong expertise in mid-rise permanent modular construction and urban infill delivery.
